Experience
In previous careers I worked as Research Scientist, Quality Manager (very
familiar with ISO 9000) and Environment, Health & Safety Advisor for
various multi-national companies in the engineering, metals, plastics,
telecommunications and building technologies business areas in UK and
overseas.
I hold the following qualifications: -
Honours Degree in Metallurgy (BSc (Eng) ARSM)
Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational
Safety & Health (Distinction)
NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management (Merit).
I was a Chartered Engineer for 20 years and a member of a number of
professional institutions. In my spare time I have, by necessity,
specified and re-built several PC's from scratch.
Skills
Over more than 20 years I developed the ability to develop documentation,
procedures and policies that are written in plain English and are well
presented in both printed and on-line formats. I am a confident user
of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat for editing and distribution of
technical and procedural documentation. My documentation has always
satisfied the requirements of internal and external auditors such as BSi
