Excellent value at a fair price....

I aim to provide a personal and flexible mobile recording service that gives excellent value at a fair price.  This means that no two projects will be the same and each project is priced individually.

Please contact me NOW to discuss your project and what you want to achieve, the locations, the timescales for recording and launch of the finished product etc.  I will take this all on board and produce an individual, written proposal for you to review and discuss with whoever is funding the project.  I can include options as required.  We can agree a final package of services and a total project price and we will be ready to roll at the agreed time.  All rates will include my services as engineer.

  • For recording at schools I have developed a pricing approach that involves no up-front expenditure.
Please see my Schools page for more details.

Notes:

  • Once we have agreed a contract, I will ask you to pay a 10% deposit up-front.  After all ... you are going to go ahead, aren't you?
  • I do not currently charge VAT.
  • For all projects I will include any additional expenses such as parking fees and accommodation at cost price.
  • For any project with more than a 25 mile trip each way I will include a mileage fee @ 40p per mile.
  • All sessions must include time for setting up / breaking down the recording equipment.
  • For occasional  recording at my mixdown studio in Hungerford, rates start at £30 per hour, £100 per half day (4 hours) or £200 per full day (8 hours) Monday-Friday.  I can provide an almost constant supply of tea or coffee to keep us going during your session.
  • A final CD master is included in all recording projects. I can supply Data backups for a fee  depending on the quantity of data and medium used for saving.
  • All multi-track and master recordings will remain my property until full payment from you has been cleared.
  • 50% of the total cost is payable on completion of recording. The balance is due when you get the master CD.
